WEDA Advocacy

Legislative advocacy is one of the most important services the Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) provides to its members. The WEDA Government Affairs Team works every day to represent the legislative interests of members and promote policies to advance economic development in Wisconsin. WEDA’s comprehensive approach to legislative advocacy includes:

  • Analyzing, monitoring and lobbying on important economic development legislation and regulatory proposals.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with lawmakers and key state officials.
  • Coordinating WEDA’s Grassroots Advocacy program to provide members the necessary information and tools to be effective advocates for economic development in Wisconsin.
