There are new issues, tools and results. Cluster-based economic development is one of these new tools. WEDA will hear from one of the leading "best practice" models with an established cluster development program. Lancaster County's program is creating a new environment for business and influencing public policy, land use and workforce development. Two local models will include Washington County's cluster planning and the City of Milwaukee's application of Michael's Porter's methodology with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) study. | |
