| Speaker: Rick Schlesinger, Executive Vice President-Business Operations, Milwaukee Brewers
Rick Schlesinger PowerPoint presentation In the last four years, the very moneyed Chicago Cubs, situated as they are in America's third-largest city, have won 327 games. In the same span, the Brewers have won 329. In the same four-year period, only two National League teams, the New York Mets, whom the Brewers beat out for the wild card on the final day of the regular season, and the Philadelphia Phillies, against whom the Brewers played in the playoffs this past October, have played at least .500 baseball each season. The Brewers have done it in three of those four years. How does a small market team compete against the large market? Rick Schlesinger is in his sixth season with the Brewers, having been named Executive Vice President-Business Operations on December 12, 2002. Schlesinger oversees the Club's business affairs, including sponsorships, marketing, ticket sales, guest services, public relations, community relations, broadcasting and communications | ||
