WEDA's strength comes from its most important asset, people. From its 54 charter members in 1975, WEDA membership has grown to over 400 members, and the number keeps growing.

WEDA provides education, communication and legislative action services as it seeks to foster economic development initiatives in the State of Wisconsin while continually striving to develop the professional practice of economic development

To meet your needs we offer several membership levels:

Regular - for people involved with, or interested in, economic development in Wisconsin.
$255.00 First member from an organization
$150.00 Each additional member from an organization

Student - for those enrolled full-time in an accredited Wisconsin college or university
$25.00 per year

Retired - for people who had been involved with, or interested in, economic development in Wisconsin and would like to stay involved
$50.00 per year

Be Bold Wisconsin: One Year Later

In July 2010, Be Bold Wisconsin: The Wisconsin Competitiveness Study was unveiled. This study, commissioned by the Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA), the Wisconsin Counties Association and Competitive Wisconsin, Inc., focuses squarely on producing a well-reasoned, executable economic development strategy for improving Wisconsin competitiveness and positioning the state for business growth, job creation and increased per capita income of our residents.
