About WEDA's Leglislative Issues
A vital dimension of WEDA’s activity focuses on legislative action. WEDA, through Hamilton Consulting Group, has four professional lobbyists who coordinate the organization’s effort to monitor and act on bills and administrative rules that impact Wisconsin’s economy. This initiative is conducted through the Legislative Committee and Legislative Subcommittees, co-chaired by a Director, and reviewed by the Board of Directors at its regular meetings. Whether acting alone or in concert with other business coalition partners, the potential and real impacts of legislative initiatives are of the highest priority to WEDA and its members.
