Historic Tax Credits -  Since 2014, 118 projects were found eligible for a combined $171.1 million in state tax credits, according to a recent report. One important result is that tax credits are affecting small Wisconsin towns, not just larger communities

The Impact of the Manufacturing and Agriculture Credit in Wisconsin -  “Wisconsin's manufacturing and agriculture tax credit accounted for almost 21,000 new manufacturing jobs since implementation started in 2013, according to a new study from University of Wisconsin-Madison Professor Noah Williams.”

New American Heartland: Renewing the Middle Class by Revitalizing Middle America - Interesting report highlighting the attributes and opportunities of the “New American Heartland.”

Organizing for Success: Regional Economic Development  -  New report which describes the benefits and challenges associated with regional economic development. Best practices of regional organizations cover operational functions, including governance and funding.

Opportunity for All: Strategies for Inclusive Economic Development  - This paper explores the issue of expanding economic opportunity for all from an economic development perspective. From nine case studies, Madison Regional Economic Partnership (MadREP) is featured as one of the examples.
